United Township High School, out of East Moline, IL is looking for a colorguard instructor for the field season of 2017. Ideally we’d like the successful candidate to be available in January for some camps (monthly through May) – but this isn’t a requirement so long as they can begin rehearsing with the guard starting in summer. Starting June 7th (Wednesday), from 6pm-8pm we have our evening rehearsals and those repeat weekly until colorguard camp in mid-July.

More dates and specifics to come as we build our 2017 schedule.

The pay for this position is negotiable, upon confirmation of dates/times available, and previous experience. If interested please contact Mike Wawrzynski.

Buffalo Grove High School will be starting a Color Guard from scratch starting this spring and will be a great opportunity to create new traditions in a positive and supportive environment.

The ideal instructor will be patient, be passionate about pursuing excellence and have a student-centered mindset and the position will begin with single day clinics for interested students in February, March, and April and end with auditions in May. Upon successful completion of the recruitment process the instructor may be asked to continue on as BGHS embarks on its first competitive marching band season.

Interested candidates should email a resume and brief letter of interest to Henry Kappler at
